Tsitsikamma Village Inn Facilities
The Tsitsikamma Village Inn offers superb conferences and facilities in Tsitsikamma, in the heart of the Storms River Village. Our conference room seats up to 84 delegates in a peaceful wing of the hotel removed from the main building.
The main building, which traces its roots back to 1845, has a spacious dining room, incorporating facilities such as the De Oude Martha Restaurant, the Hunters Pub, Cafe Bacchus and Guest Lounge.
Situated just 5kms from Storms River Bridge, Tsitsikamma Village Inn offers fun-filled adventure team-building options for the more active guest and is popular both with incentive and conference groups.
The latest addition to the Tsitsikamma Village Inn’s facilities is our micro-brewery, brewing up uniquely local brews available on tap.
Our Awesome Foursome special includes a number of onsite and offsite activities that allow you to explore the facilities both in the village and our beautiful surrounding area. Book yourself a holiday that combines adrenaline, great food, and beautiful accommodation.
"Not all beers are created equal!"
The latest addition to the Tsitsikamma Village Inn is our micro-brewery, brewing up uniquely local brews available on tap. Our one of kind brewery tap room can be found between our Hotel and Marilyn’s 60’s Diner. We are constantly trying new recipes and methods to create unique Tsitsikamma craft beer flavours.
From grain to glass, only the purest intentions go into making our beer. The beer is brewed according to the 1487 German Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law): using only barley, hops and water. The ingredients are carefully selected and the water is from our very own well – giving you that original Tsitsikamma brewery taste.
Final permits have come through for our brewery and four beers have been put on tap as of April 24, 2014. These beers are now available at Tsitsikamma Village Inn as well.
Monday - Thursday: 10:00am - 5:00pm

SMALL TOWN, BIG SURPRISE! Whether you are staying at the magical Tsitsikamma Village Inn for a night or three, or if you happen to be making a stop along your way down the Garden Route, Shake, Rattle and Roll at the retro Marilyns 60s Diner!
Proudly sporting the all American Burger and cold milkshakes, the diner invites you to a throwback of a dining experience altogether. Enjoy jukebox classics and take snaps of the stunning classic cars and bike collection, celebrating the sensational ‘60s era of none other than Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
Our diner is a wonderful venue for all occassions, be it birthday parties or a team building conference, we offer great food and a jukebox to keep the atmosphere going. We have a number of props our guests are welcome to have fun with, and we put 101% into making the theme of the diner come alive for all functions and events.
Surrounded by a wide verandah, looking out onto the Village square, the décor is a blend of today and yesterday.
We use fresh, often organic and local ingredients with fresh herbs from our garden mixed with a detail of love to create traditional meals.
Cosy in winter and cool in summer, De Oude Martha has good food and friendly staff all year around. The doors always open, stop by and experience the heart of this historic restaurant.
The Hunter’s Pub is the original hunting lodge lieut. Duthie, son in law of George Rex used for his hunting expeditions. The Yellowwood ceiling in the hotel dates back to this era. In remembrance of those days, the pub is decorated with old riffles, horns, trophies and skins of various antelope including Springbok, Gemsbok, Impala, Kudu, Eland, Duiker, Bush Buck and Bontebok. There is also a stuffed replica of a Cape Mountain leopard in the bar. Leopards can be found in the forest to this day.
The warmth of an antique fireplace is only matched by the friendliness of the staff that will make you feel at home. Relax a while and enjoy a few pints of locally brewed beer in this famous historic pub.
We are proud to be one of the 101 Beloved Bars mentioned in the book “101 Beloved Bars of Southern Africa” by Chris Marais and Pat Hopkins.
